Getting help.

Guardian, by Detect The Bet

Email support@detecthebet.com and a person will answer. Tell us what you were doing and what happened; if you can, include a screenshot.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings, then Delete my account. It disconnects every card first, then permanently deletes everything we hold. It cannot be undone. If you would rather we did it, email us and we will action it and confirm.

A charge we got wrong

Tap the finding, then "You got this wrong", and tell us what it really was. Corrections go to review. One family's correction never silently changes what every other family sees, which is why it is a review and not a switch.

Disconnecting a card

Settings, tap the card, then stop watching it. New charges stop being read immediately. What we already showed you stays, unless you delete your account.

Reconnecting later is a new bank connection, and it reaches back only as far as your bank allows a new one. That is a limit of the bank, not a setting we can change.

A bank connection that stopped working

Banks expire connections periodically, and some require you to re-authenticate every few months. The app tells you when a card has stopped reporting rather than showing you a clean screen it cannot support. Reconnect from Settings.

Helping to watch a card

If another parent sent you a code, open the app, go to Settings, then A card someone else watches, and enter it. You will see the charges we flagged on one child and nothing else on their card.
